A:Traditional tablet printers are limited to printing only on rigid flat surfaces such as acrylic, glass, and wood panels. In contrast, the roll-to-flat integrated printer is equipped with not only a dedicated flatbed platform, but also a roll-to-roll feeding system, which is (often fitted with automatic alignment correction functionality. This design enables it to print on flexible rolled materials including lightbox fabrics, car stickers, and flexible films.

Q:Is there a limit on print thickness? (Especially for plates)

A:It generally accommodates thickness variations ranging from 0 to 100 mm, while some industrial-grade devices support even greater thicknesses, which (requires pre-calibrating the nozzle height. There are typically no strict thickness requirements when printing roll materials.

Q:How is a relief effect with a "three-dimensional texture" achieved when printing?

A:Using multi-layer printing technology, multiple layers of white ink are physically stacked, then coated with colored ink and varnish on the surface, which can easily create 3D relief and Braille effects.

Q:Is the material surface too smooth, causing color fading during printing?

A:For high-gloss surfaces such as glass, metal, and acrylic, a specialized UV coating must be applied to the material surface prior to printing to enhance adhesion. Ordinary materials do not require any coating and can be printed directly.

Q:How should the machine be maintained after prolonged disuse?

A:The most critical aspect is nozzle maintenance. After prolonged shutdown, you must thoroughly clean the residual ink inside the nozzle and inject a moisturizing solution. In addition, you should disconnect both the main power supply and the air supply, keep the appropriate temperature and humidity in the working environment, and prevent nozzle clogging.

Q:The hardness of coils and sheets varies; does the machine use the same type of ink?

A:Neutral ink is typically used for printing. Hard plates require rigid ink to prevent scratching, while flexible rolls need soft ink to avoid cracking during folding or stretching. Roll flattening machines generally use neutral ink to meet both requirements. If you consistently print only one type of material, switching to a specialized ink is recommended.

Q:Is switching from a print tablet to a roll material complex? How long does it take?

A:You can master the operation in just 3–5 minutes. To switch modes, simply disassemble or fold the front and rear extension platforms, insert the roll into the roll-to-roll tension system, and select your desired mode with a single click in the control software.

Q:When printing on plastic or flexible film, issues such as ink bleeding and thread formation often occur. How can these problems be resolved?

A:This phenomenon is primarily caused by static electricity. Plastic sheets and coils are highly susceptible to generating static electricity through friction during transportation. To eliminate static interference, equipment must be fitted with industrial-grade electrostatic discharge rods (ion bars), and the machine's ground connection must be properly secured before printing.
